How to use Pallas
Pallas is a fully decentralized protocol, meaning all interactions deposits, withdrawals, and vault selection are performed directly through your Web3 wallet. This section walks you through the full user journey, from connecting your wallet to redeeming your position.
1. Connect Your Wallet
To begin using Pallas:
Open the Pallas App.
Click “Connect Wallet”.
Select your Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet).
Approve the connection request in your wallet.
Once connected, you will gain access to the vault dashboard and your personal positions.
2. Select a Vault
After connecting your wallet, you will see the list of available vaults, each representing a different quantitative strategy.
For each vault, you can view:
Strategy type (market-neutral, basis arbitrage, etc.)
Historical yield metrics
Risk parameters
Fees
Supported assets
Choose the vault that fits your objectives and click “Deposit”.
3. Deposit Into a Vault
Depositing is simple:
Enter the amount you want to deposit.
Approve the token allowance (if required).
Sign the deposit transaction with your Web3 wallet.
Wait for on-chain confirmation.
Once confirmed, your vault shares are minted and your position becomes active.
Note: After depositing, the Pallas engine will begin looking for suitable market conditions to deploy capital. This may take some time, depending on:
Volatility
Liquidity
Funding rates
Spread opportunities
The strategy never forces entries; it waits for optimal execution windows to maximize net yield.
4. Monitor Your Position
Your dashboard gives you a real-time view of your vault position, including:
Current balance
Vault shares
Yield metrics
Compounded performance
Strategy allocation
Pending airdrops (when applicable)
Historical performance
Redemption status (if a withdrawal is in progress)
This view updates automatically as the algorithm executes trades and as market conditions evolve.
5. Withdraw Your Funds
Withdrawing is just as simple as depositing:
Go to your dashboard.
Select “Withdraw”.
Enter the amount to redeem.
Sign the withdrawal transaction in your wallet.
This action starts the redemption process, which follows the vault’s variable redemption window (typically 1 hour to 3 days, depending on market conditions).
During this time:
Positions are unwound optimally
Spreads are minimized
Execution avoids impacting net yield
Once complete, your funds are automatically transferred back to your wallet.
